Holly and Ty Engstrom

Partner/Balloom Dance

Ty and Holly Engstrom enjoyed many different types of dance when young and in high school, but discovered their love of ballroom dance (and each other) at BYU-Idaho. Together they learned many International style ballroom dances from beginning to advanced.

Though they love all, the Latin dances are their favorites! Holly practiced 1 1/2 years of ballroom, making the college team and winning several competitions. Then together, they made the BYU Ballroom Tour Team in 2001. Ty and Holly danced on the team that year, went on tour and continued learning. With the passion for ballroom dance still burning, today they teach it to others. Ty and Holly have a combined experience of 35 years teaching various community and church groups. Showing others just how easy, fun, and healthy (on ALL levels) partner dancing is the passion they bring to our floor.
